Refund and Returns Policy for SharpCite

At SharpCite, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, we offer a straightforward returns and refund process. Please review the terms of our Refund and Returns Policy below.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Time Frame: Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • Condition: The item must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories (if applicable).
  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain products, including personalized, custom-made, or final sale items, may not be eligible for return. Please check the product description or contact us for more details.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info@sharpcite.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Return Authorization: Once we receive your return request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions. Please do not send the item back without prior approval.
  3. Prepare the Return: Carefully pack the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, or any other items that were included in your order. Ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Domestic Returns: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or an error was made on our part. In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • International Returns: International customers are responsible for all return shipping fees, including customs duties and taxes. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

4. Refund Process

Once we receive the returned item(s) and confirm they meet the return criteria, we will process your refund.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to be processed after we receive the returned item. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please return the original item and place a new order for the desired item. Follow the return and refund process outlined above for the original purchase.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@sharpcite.com within 7 days of receiving the item. We will either:

  • Provide a replacement item at no additional cost, or
  • Issue a full refund once the damaged or defective item is returned to us.

Please provide photographic evidence of the damage or defect to help expedite the resolution process.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after the specified processing time, please first check with your bank or payment provider. It may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account due to their processing times.

8. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply to returned items. This fee will be clearly communicated to you when you request a return and may apply to items that are opened or returned outside of the standard return conditions.

9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items marked as final sale or non-returnable.
  • Personalized or custom-made items that were made to order.
  • Products that have been used or damaged outside of normal wear and tear.
